Sustain-a-Bee began with a simple realization: our everyday habits, especially in the kitchen, leave a lasting impact on the planet. It started with a growing awareness of the single-use plastic piling up at home. From sandwich bags to cling wrap, it became clear how often we rely on convenience at the cost of sustainability. There had to be a better way—something reusable, natural, and beautiful.

That’s when our founder, Rini Chandrakumaran, inspired by nature and driven by curiosity, began experimenting with beeswax wraps in her kitchen. What started as a personal switch quickly turned into a small batch project shared with friends and family. The response was warm and encouraging. People loved the idea of reducing waste while using something that felt personal and handcrafted.

What began as a Digital Media capstone idea has now grown into a real world brand. Sustain-a-Bee is rooted in simplicity, care, and the belief that small changes can lead to a big impact. Today, it's more than just wraps. It's a reminder that we all have a role to play in protecting our planet. Each product is made with love, intention, and the hope to inspire others to embrace sustainability, "One wrap at a time".
